Lamb of God!
Praying you up right now. Lord bless all of them:
...that they glorify You. Let them play and sing supernatural. You
are who we praise Jesus. Like our devotional this week, Jesus you are
the Lamb of God who takes our sin away. You call all of us, like you
called John, then Andrew, then Philip, and Nathaniel (Thought to be
called also Bartholomew)! Jesus has supernatural powers!
"Lord bless all of you: that you would
be like Andrew (in the Bible)
who brought many, many to Christ! Let them know that we can do all
things through Christ who strengthens us. We praise you Lord the Lamb
of God who takes our sin away. Please save Your people today. When we
see the color red we will remember Your blood that cleansed all of our
sin away. Lord again today start in all our lives by cleansing us.
Fill us with Your Holy Spirit to control our minds, emotions, and
will. Let us see with Your eyes, hear with Your ears, and have
compassion and empathy towards others like Your precious heart Jesus!
In the power of Your name and will. Amen."
In the Lamb of God,
Mom
Meeting Jesus is life changing. John and Andrew were never the same.
John the baptist pointed them to the Lamb of God, and they
followed.John knew Jesus was the promised Messiah. ( Isaiah 53:5-11)
andrew later brought his brother Peter as the third disciple. Andrew
is most prominently seen intoducing others to Jesus (see John 6:8-9;
12:22). Andrew tells Peter they have found the Messiah (which means
Christ). Whom are you pointing to Christ? Whom are you following?
Jesus' sacrifice was sufficient to atone for all mankind. (1 John 2:2).
When introduced to Christ, people react in different ways. Some, like
Philip, are immediately sold-out. Others, like Nathanael, are
skeptical and cautious. What a great example we see in Andrew and
Philip, men who did not need the spotlight but quietly brought others
to Christ!
Pray that the Lord "Lamb of God", will give you the strength to
get through todays storms!
