"In 2,000 years of Christian history, approximately seventy million faithful believers have given their lives as martyrs. Of that number, 45.5 million (65 percent) were within the last century.
www.ewtn.com: “20th Century Saw 65 percent of Christian Martyrs”
Nancy Leigh DeMoss "Ears to Hear" Read her comments below:
First:Read Revelation 2:8–11.
"Record the description of Christ.
What is the significance of this description of Christ?
Jesus’ words, “I know your tribulation and your poverty” (Rev 2:9), come from One who can truly identify with those who suffer. Consider His personal experience with affliction as you read these passages: Isaiah 63:9; Philippians 2:8; Hebrews 4:15–16; 1 Peter 2:22–24.
Does your family misunderstand you? Jesus can relate. Have you been rejected or falsely accused? So was He. Have you been abandoned or betrayed by someone you trusted? Turn to the One who experienced the greatest betrayal known to man. The child of God never suffers alone. Jesus has walked the path of suffering and knows it well, and He will walk with you each step of the way.
Read the account of the first Christian martyr in Acts 7. How does Stephen’s response to those who stoned him compare to your reaction when criticized or attacked? How was he able to respond this way?
Record the promise given to the persecuted believers in Smyrna (Rev. 2:10). The Greek word for crown in this verse is stephanos. It is the word for the victor’s crown. The first Christian martyr, Stephen (Gk: Stephanos), received a victor’s crown for his faithful witness for Christ, even as he was being stoned to death for His faith in Christ.
How can you demonstrate your faithfulness as an overcomer today?" by Nancy Leigh DeMoss.

We come to You asking, to forgive us please Lord! With a personal relationship that we can speak to You day or night, whenever and wherever! We glorify You precious Lord and Savior. We are thankful that God raised You from the dead and that You are alive! We are thankful for our Holy Spirit that lives inside of us! Praise God for whom all blessings flow! You are magnified Christ Jesus! You are awesome Christ Jesus and we praise Your Holy name. Please bless all of the orphans and widows today....and all of Your people! We are so so thankful for all of our pastors and their families, missionaries all over the world, and all the Christians who are putting You first, that sacrifice so much everyday! Some who are willing to die for You! We pray for the small areas of the world who do not know You yet and we pray that Your Word will be manifested in all their lives soon! Your Word says over and over again that You love us so much. You save our tears in a bottle and write our names on the palms of Your hand.
We are very thankful Lord and Savior Jesus the Messiah, Father and Holy Spirit! In Your name Jesus and will. Amen."

Revelation 2
Message to Ephesus
1"To the angel of the church in (A)Ephesus write: The One who holds (B)the seven stars in His right hand, the One who walks (C)among the seven golden lampstands, says this:
2'(D)I know your deeds and your toil and perseverance, and that you cannot tolerate evil men, and you (E)put to the test those who call themselves (F)apostles, and they are not, and you found them to be false;
3and you have perseverance and have endured (G)for My name's sake, and have not grown weary.
4'But I have this against you, that you have (H)left your first love.
5'Therefore remember from where you have fallen, and (I)repent and (J)do the deeds you did at first; or else I am coming to you and will remove your (K)lampstand out of its place--unless you repent.
6'Yet this you do have, that you hate the deeds of the (L)Nicolaitans, which I also hate.
7'(M)He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches (N)To him who overcomes, I will grant to eat of (O)the tree of life which is in the (P)Paradise of God.'
Message to Smyrna
8"And to the angel of the church in (Q)Smyrna write: (R)The first and the last, who (S)was dead, and has come to life, says this:
9'I know your (T)tribulation and your (U)poverty (but you are (V)rich), and the blasphemy by those who (W)say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of (X)Satan.
10'Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to cast some of you into prison, so that you will be (Y)tested, and you will have tribulation (Z)for ten days Be (AA)faithful until death, and I will give you (AB)the crown of life.
11'(AC)He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches (AD)He who overcomes will not be hurt by the (AE)second death.'

His Amazing Grace
"In Him (Jesus Christ ) we have redemption through His blood and the forgiveness of our trespasses according to the riches of His grace!" Ephesians 1:7
"But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus after you have suffered for a while, perfect establish, strengthen and settle you." 1 Peter 5:10
"God is more forgiving that we can imagine. His continuing grace can take the sorry elements of human life and use them for His blessed purposes. There is nothing more marvelous in all the world than the power of God's grace." David Jeremiah
Paul used the word at the beginning and end of every one of his letters. It was the grace of God that planned salvation before the foundation of the world. (Ephesians 1:4) (2 Timothy 1:9)
"Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ." (2 Peter 3:18)
See the closing statement of Revelations: (Rev. 22:21)
"By Grace we are saved through faith and this is not of ourselves but God's gift and not from works so none will boast." Ephesians 2:8-9

Amazing Grace by John Newton 1779
1 "A- maz- ing grace! How sweet the sound! That saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now I'm found; Was blind but now I see.
2 Twas grace that taught my heart to fear, And grace my fears re- lieved.
How pre- cious did that grace ap -pear the hour I first be lieved.
3 Thro man- y dan- gers toils and snares I have al- read - y come. Tis grace that brought me safe thus far, And grace will lead
me home.
4 When we've been there ten thou - sand years, Bright shin - ing as the sun, We've no less days to sing God's praise, Than when
we first be - gun."
Amazing Grace
In 2005 a country western singer at a bar , in Savannah Georgia, was playing some music. It was smoky and thick, and people had been drinking. As it ended, she said it went really well, and they asked for an encore. Then she sang, "Amazing Grace" a cappella, and it just shut the room down. Everything just stopped! Everybody ended up singing with her, like it was church. .... He came to all people, even sinners in a bar. He came especially to people who were doing it all wrong, all busted up, sick, sinful, and who needed help. Then and now. Millions of people for 260 years-have been moved by this song and felt like it was about them.
It's about us!
This passage Inspired John Newton's writing of 'Amazing Grace'
King David ..... "Who am I, O Lord God? And what is my house, that You have brought me this far? And yet You have also spoken of Your servant's house fir a great while to come, and have regarded me according to the rank of a man of high degree, O LORD God." 1 Chronicles 17:16, 17.

Amazing Grace yesterday, today, and tomorrow!
Good Morning! Happy Blessed Thanksgiving!
Amazing Grace! Grace means undeserved acceptance and love received from another. Divine grace from God: it refers to the undeserved favor of God in providing salvation for those deserving condemnation. ( all of us, me!) the saving activity of God which is manifested in the gift of His Son to die in the place of sinners. In Greek it is charis: "the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ"... It is the redeeming activity of God that manifests itself in the redemptive work of Christ by which sinners are forgiven and accepted by God! Wow thank you Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Thank you Christ Jesus , I owe you my life. We owe you our life, with every breath! Love, hugs, prayers, and His grace! Love T!
Amazing Grace written by John Newton 1779:
A man who always seemed to get into trouble. He deserted the British Navy, was captured, flogged, and demoted. His life was out of control, living at sea as a slave trader, unmoved by such a despicable way of life. March 9, 1748, a night which changed his life, newton could no longer save himself. A blinding storm arose off the coast of Newfoundland, he and his crew, cried out to God for mercy. The gracious, loving God he remembered from his Mother's faith not only spared Newton's life, but also led him to a new way of living.
Years later, as an anti-slavery activist, most influential evangelists of his day, wrote:
"That tenth of March is a day much remember be me. I have never suffered it to pass unnoticed since the year 1748- the Lord came to me on high and delivered me out of deep waters."
"Amazing Grace," John Newton's very personal story of transformation, is the most famous of hundreds of hymns he penned throughout his life. It was the story of his life, and perhaps the most famous hymn of all time."

Let God lead you! Love God!
Joshua concludes his farewell address and charge by reminding Israel of God's promises kept; however, His threat is true: if you serve other gods and bow down before them, you (Israel) will perish off the good land He has given.
Loving God will take you away from sin and produce good fruit of righteousness.
Joshua 23:9-16 Love GOD, JESUS CHRIST!!!!!
